End of June 2011

Here it is the end of June 2011 and I am on my way to getting my name out there. I love being an Ambassador for Barefoot Books and I have met so many people along the way. I have made my "To-Do" list. I have collected addresses and phone numbers for doctor's offices and daycare's. I have started my Book Club. Now I have to write letters, make phone calls, and start my mailing list. I would like to fill this list with as many people as possible. Won't you help me get that list going?

I have been an Ambassador for Barefoot Children's Books for about two months now and I have been thinking about ideas to get my name out there. I don't have the money to get one of the kits to do events yet but I am thinking of ways to do online events. I have a facebook fan page set up and trying to get clicks. If someone clicks on the "like" button then my page will show up as a notification and others will see it. I have also been thinking about doing a letter to email to the people in my email contacts.

I have been looking into other ideas too. I have a list of doctor's offices and day cares to send letters to and I have my business cards. I want to get a car magnet to put on the back of the van so that I can advertise while I am driving down the road. I have been leaving my business cards in the ladies rooms of stores, in baby changing tables, and even handed a few out. I am thinking about asking the store down the street from us to let me put some cards out. I have some flyers to hand out too.

I will write more when I find out if any of these will work and also think of more ideas. I hope to get my name out there soon so that I can eventually be a stay at home mom. I love my kids and don't want their only memories of me to be of me working all of the time.

I am an Ambassador...

My name is Charity Tipton and I am a 34 year old wife and mother. I have been married to my wonderful husband for ten years. I work in the office of a local factory and like my job and the people that I work with but was looking for something to do for me. Some thing where I can work from home and have a way to bond with my little girls. I love how they use their imaginations and decided to find a way to help them expand their imagination and still redefine myself.

That is when I found Barefoot Children's Books. I looked into them and spoke to a few Ambassadors and decided that this was a great way to do both. I could redefine myself and find new ways to inspire my children. I love the books, dvds, cds and puzzles that Barefoot Books has to offer. They really know how to make learning and reading fun for children.

I decided that I would start this blog to tell about some of the products that we offer and also chronicle my journey to be a stay at home mom. By following my blog, you will become a member of my Barefoot Book Club and be entered in drawings for discounts and free products.
